Examination Regulations
The following regulations govern the conduct of examinations at Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences, in compliance with NACTE guidelines.
Eligibility to Sit for Examinations
- A student must have attended at least 80% of lectures and practical sessions.
- All tuition and examination fees must be fully paid.
- A valid examination permit must be obtained from the Finance Office.
During the Examination
- Students must be seated 15 minutes before the exam begins.
- Only authorized materials (as specified by the examiner) are permitted.
- Mobile phones and smart devices must be switched off and left outside the exam room.
- Communication between candidates during the examination is prohibited.
- Students may not leave the examination room during the first 30 minutes or last 15 minutes.
Grading System

Supplementary Examinations
Students who score a Grade D may sit for supplementary examinations. Students who fail supplementary examinations may be required to repeat the semester. A maximum of two supplementary attempts per module is allowed.
